The trainee will receive a Young Peninsula Journalist trainee press card and an ID username and password to access to the online training.
The trainee is obliged to complete a total of 30 hours for a period of 2 months in order to receive the YPJ attendance certificate.
The 30 hours training is split into 15 hours of online training and 15 hours of training at our headquarters.
We are aware that the programme begins parallel to the trainees aside education; therefore our programme is flexible and does not interfere with the trainee’s education.
The trainee will have to be present at our headquarters for 7.5 hours a month which may be split into the trainee’s most convenient timing.
There will be a report given to the parent/guardian that will highlight the performance of the trainee.
Since the trainees are from Grade 7 up to Grade 12. The programme will consist at the same learning speed; however for Grade 7 to 9 the language will be much simplified compared to Grade 10 to 12.
Please note that both female/male will not be separated; however the trainees will be segregated in age groups; Group 1: Grade 7 up to Grade 9 and Group 2: Group 10 up to Grade 12.
