All trainees of the Young Peninsula Journalist programme are expected to be on their best behaviour at all times, arrive on time and ready to work. These are the 10 basic rules that trainees are to abide by.

1. All trainees are not allowed to misuse office supplies, materials or equipment. All are expected to use the facilities given in a proper manner.

2. It is expected from all that any work or assignments given will be completed and handed in before or on the deadline itself.

3. Trainees are expected to complete the compulsory hours of training both online and at headquarters.

4. Good behaviour and mannerisms are to be displayed at all times.

5. Trainees must be respectful of each other, staff and any visiting guest at the Peninsula.

6. Vulgarities, slander and/or any improper use of language will not be tolerated.

7. Trainees should not refuse or fail to carry out a task given to them by anyone of their superiors.

8. Everyone is expected to work hard and to their full potential.

9. Trainees should be able to work together as a team.

10. All are obligated to contribute what they can to the Young Peninsula Journalist Magazine.

If the trainee violates the above mentioned; he/she will be immediately dismissed from the programme.
